Thank you for your interest in joining the LEAP Pilot Network. The application will provide LEAP with a rich picture of your product. The application consists of two parts, a written portion and three 2-min videos. Both the written and video components are due Friday December 23, 2016 at 11:59PM CT. We strongly recommend video submissions are completed by Wednesday, December 14, 2016 to allow for any revisions.

Part 1 - Written Application (CLICK HERE TO APPLY)

Part 2 - Three 2-minute Videos

  • Videos should be no more than 2-minutes each and succinctly answer each question below. 
  • Submission: Upload into your specific LEAP company folder (email Jaymes for folder access) three 2-minute videos that address the questions below. Videos must meet the following:
    • File types: .mp4
    • Please use the following naming convention: COMPANY_PRODUCT_VID#.mp4 (Ex.: GOOGLE_DRIVE_VID1.mp4, GOOGLE_DRIVE_VID2.mp4, etc.)
    • Video resolution: 720p:1280x720 (compressed) (Please note that recording your video in fullscreen will enhance the resolution.) 
    • Video length: Each video must be 2 minutes or less (strictly enforced)
    • Due date for all three videos: Friday December 23, 2016 at 11:59PM CT. We strongly recommend video submissions are completed by Wednesday, December 14, 2016 to allow for any revisions. LEAP reserves the right to request re-recordings should videos not address the prompts below, are not under 2 minutes each, or for any quality reasons. 
    • Successful videos do not have to feature actual students and teachers. The webinars should be taped as if responding to questions posed by a school administrator.

  • Learner “profiles” that transparently roll-up multiple data points for teacher and student reflection
  • A shared database and dashboard of customizable student metrics
  • Instructional content driven by formative assessments

2. A student to:

  • Work at a level of appropriate challenge / difficulty
  • Pace themselves
  • Demonstrate mastery of concepts when ready and in multiple ways

Sample Product Features:

  • In-product assessment or the ability to import external assessment data to inform the learning path of the user
  • Formative, on-demand assessments and content delivery based on the user’s actions and demonstrated mastery or interest
  • Multiple forms of assessment and production of evidence of learning

3. A student to shape their learning by:

  • Set learning goals and plans by themselves or with their teachers
  • Assess, monitor and reflect on progress towards goals

  • Granular and cumulative competency feedback to the student that enables him/her to reflect on progress, strengths, and needs
